Have you ever had a special hunch about that little treasure that seemed to call your name from across the flea market parking lot? Or do you crave color, form and texture the same way you crave food? Does hand worn patina on old southern pine get your pulse racing? Do you absorb blogs, books and magazines like a wet sponge on a farm sink?
I do and that’s why I decided to create a place for all savvy seekers to learn, be inspired and share tips for growing their well loved treasures. Follow me as I go antiquing, scavenging and seeking around the East Coast. Also, meet the folks that inspire me and who also share a passion for decorative arts.
I’m Erin and I’d like to think that I’m a pretty savvy seeker. I’m a life-long learner who can’t sit still and has a slight obsession about history and the arts (especially those two subjects combined). I work professionally in the communication arts industry as an art director for the award winning public relations firm, PadillaCRT, and freelance as an editorial illustrator and designer for organizations and publications across the country. I daydream about taking our antique 1972 Dodge pickup truck to the World’s Longest Yardsale and finding a mint condition 1950’s “Drink Coca Cola” button for $20.
